Illuminate UX was founded by Stephanie in 2020. The aim was to create a human-centred design consultancy that could help product and service teams bridge the gap between technology and the people that build and use it.
Stephanie is a passionate, driven UX specialist in service design, user research and product management. She uses design thinking, research methodologies and strategy to help product and service teams understand the problems they and their users face, and to build the right solutions to those problems.
Working with teams to help them apply a human-centred design approach to the way they work and to enable them to make data driven decisions that meet both business and user needs, Stephanie looks at the end-to-end user experience across services and helps teams understand the wider eco-systems in which they and their users are operating.
She works closely with developers, researchers, product managers and service owners to take a whole team approach to problem solving and solution design. Stephanie has previously helped build research and design teams from the ground up, mentoring junior colleagues to excel in their roles and educating others to understand how human-centred design can help them achieve their goals.
